Living an independent, satisfying life involves more than work, school, buying groceries or balancing a checkbook. It also includes developing life-long hobbies and participating in recreational activities.
Given their need to attend to basic survival, many of our youth have not developed positive recreational habits, such as attending art exhibits, visiting museums, painting, gardening—and a whole host of other activities that enrich the human spirit.
Our recreational program not only provides opportunities for enjoying life while at Teen Living Programs, but also seeks to instill a strong appetite for interests and hobbies that will last throughout a lifetime.
While at Teen Living Programs, youth go bowling, visit museums, see movies, produce and enjoy live music, and more. We provide outlets such as poetry readings, jam sessions, and art exhibitions and encourage creativity in all its positive forms.
