Belfort House's cutting-edge programs prepare youth for independent living, going well beyond the basics of food, shelter, and safety. But the Belfort House facility, the actual building, is in a state of rapid deterioration. It is almost 100 years old and has outlived its useful life, and now is the time for TLP to build a better and larger house. Thanks to an amazing philanthropic support, weve already committed and raised $1.6 million toward our goal of $3.3 million to create new, more appropriate housing and increase our capacity!
Based on four years of research, including consultation with one of the nation's leading architect for programs like ours, the new Belfort House will address current problems, run more efficiently with decreased operational costs, and help more residents achieve better lives.
